The finding of 1.9/1,000 prevalence of mental disability by medical interns is about 30% more than the finding in a similar large scale survey carried out by National Sample Survey Organization (NSSO) in 2002[2] in which the prevalence of mental disability was 1.48/1,000 population in Karnataka.…”
