Identifying tumor antigens and immune subtypes of renal cell carcinoma for immunotherapy development

Abstract: Renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is one of the leading causes of death in men. Messenger ribonucleic acid (mRNA) vaccines may be an attractive means to achieve satisfactory results. Cancer immunotherapy is a promising cancer treatment strategy. However, immunotherapy is not widely used in renal cell carcinoma, as only a few patients show a positive response. The present study aimed to identify potential antigens associated with renal cell carcinoma to develop an anti-renal cell carcinoma mRNA vaccine. Moreover, the … Show more

“…When the cell density reached approximately 30%-40% and good growth and even distribution were observed, predesigned siRNA and overexpression plasmids (Jima Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Shanghai, China) were transfected into the cells using Lipofectamine 2000 Reagent (Thermo Fisher Scienti c Inc. MA, USA.) following previously described methods [40].HT-22 cells were assigned to groups as described in Section 2.3 after overexpression or knockdown of Sp1 and GlyT1(siRNA primers sequences shown in Table 2), and the cells were further incubated in an incubator until subsequent experimental observation was performed.…”
