Abstract:Idiopathic eruptive macular pigmentation (IEMP) is a rare disorder of pigmentation presenting with asymptomatic hyperpigmentation mainly in children and adolescents over face, neck, trunk, and extremities. Epidermal basal-cell pigmentation is observed on histopathology. It usually resolves spontaneously over months to years.
