Idiopathic nodular glomerulosclerosis: Report of two cases and review of literature

Abstract: Nodular glomerulosclerosis, a pathological finding characterized by areas of marked mesangial expansion with accentuated glomerular nodularity can be seen in a number of conditions including diabetic nephropathy, amyloidosis, light chain deposition disease, fibrillary and immunotactoid glomerulopathy, collagen type III disease, nodular membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis, and Takayasu's arteritis.
