Idiopathic Pericarditis and Pericardial Effusion in Children: Contemporary Epidemiology and Management

Abstract: BackgroundMulticenter studies on idiopathic or viral pericarditis and pericardial effusion (PPE) have not been reported in children. Colchicine use for PPE in adults is supported.
