Abstract: Diseases that affect the intestine may have hepatic manifestations, but the mechanisms involved in establishing hepatic disease secondarily remain poorly understood. We previously reported that IL-10 knockout (KO) mice developed severe necrotizing hepatitis following oral infection with Trichinella spiralis.
