In this paper, we examine the application of the iterative learning control to a class of nonlinear varying time-delay distributed parameter system hyperbolic types. The proposed algorithm is based on the PD-type iterative learning control algorithm with initial state learning. Initially, we present the system and the control law utilized. Subsequently, we presented some dilemmas. Then, adequate conditions for monotone convergence of the tracking error are established under the suitable assumption. Similarly, we give a precise convergence analysis based on formerly given lemmas and Gronwall’s inequality for the system. Finally, we illustrate the effectiveness of the method using a numerical example.
