Introduction: Pharmacoresistant schizophrenia is not a rarity. It is defined as un successfull treatment of schizophrenia by two different sort of antipsychotics with different mechanism of action, lasting up at least six weeks with dosage which is equivalent to 1000 mg per day of chlorpromazine in the period of last five years. Clozapine is used as a "rescue"antipsychotic when previous treatment of schizophrenia fails.Objective of the study is to examine safety and effectiveness of clozapine in treating pharmacoresistant schizophrenia among elders.

Ann Surg 2011;253:78-81. List the implications for nursing practice of this research Allows the identifi cation of patients at risk for post-■ operative ileus (POI). Predictive information combined with evidence from ■ the WHO provides guidelines to prevent POI. Improved preventive care can decrease the cost and ■ length of hospital stays. Nurses can advocate for preventive measures even ■ though they do not have prescriptive authority. List the implications for nursing research in the light of this studyNurses can translate this information into their stan-■ dard of care.

Intestinal bowel obstruction is a common surgical emergency that causes a problem in abdominal surgery. The leading causes of small bowel obstruction are postoperative adhesions (60%) followed by malignancy, Crohn disease, gallstone ABSTRACT Foreign bodies are one of the rare cause of mechanical intestinal obstructions. 75 years old female patient presented to emergency department complaining about abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting. Patient underwent to surgery for mechanical intestinal obstruction. Obstruction due to necrosis in 30 centimeters of terminal ileum detected. Resection and end to end anastomosis performed. A napkin seen inside of the specimen. We are presenting a patient with mechanical intestinal obstruction due to a napkin.
