Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart (CAPTCHA) is a challenge response tactics for identifying whether intervened user is human or bot. It is a benchmark task in the field of artificial intelligence that acquires capabilities to secure a webpage or database from programmed loop. There are various ways to attempt such tests i.e. distorted text recognition, motion text recognition, picture identification, mathematical calculation and AI problems as gaming CAPTCHA. Nowadays CAPTCHA is well thought-out as a broadly employed technique which is exploited by web services to prevent their system from unusual relay attacks. It is basically a Turing test required to differentiate whether the accessed client is either a human being or a robot. CAPTCHA is a trending approach where user needs to play an artificial game which is based on some logics that can be understood by human and almost impossible for robots. Gaming CAPTCHA is trending now where user is required to understand the task and perform as it required. But dragging an object towards target area on the basis of object recognition is not a big deal either for human or bots. It is required to put some intellectual efforts that automated programs do not understand. Proposed system is able to provide highly secured technique that easily differentiates human and bots. Proposed CAPTCHA is based on situation reaction test where user is required to take fundamentally correct decision as per the situation. Situation reaction based CAPTCHA is a new and effective approach where hard AI problem proposed that only possible for human and almost impossible for bots. Robot is always weak in correct decision making especially in real life situations that is why situation reaction CAPTCHA plays an important role in the field of turing test.

Nowadays, because of the undeniable impact of the Internet on all aspects of human life, security preserving has received more attention. To reach an acceptable level of security, Completely Automatic Public Turing test to tell Computer and Human Apart or simply CAPTCHA as a security preserving tool has been tailored for situations that need to prevent bots from doing a specific action; for example, signing up and downloading. Simultaneously, it should be also designed in such a way to allow humans to perform the same action. Despite its advantageous applications, there are several important issues such as security, usability, and accessibility that make its use controversial. In this paper, attempts were made to do a comprehensive review on various aspects and state-of-the-art of CAPTCHA in general and its alternatives in particular to help researchers easily focus on specific issues for the sake of proposing new solutions and ideas. Regarding the advancement in CAPTCHA development, new classifications were proposed to categorize different variations of CAPTCHAs and their problems and then compare them. Moreover, different types of CAPTCHAs' alternatives were classified and evaluated by introducing several proposed measures. This evaluation could come in handy for future studies that aim to develop new techniques for overcoming current deficiencies.

CAPTCHA (Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart) which is a security challenge through which human and bots intervention can be measured. It is a type of turing test through which programmed intervention can be detected by it behavior or solving the problem. There are various CAPTCHA problems available such as distorted string, picture recognition, audio, math and gaming CAPTCHA. Game based problem is interactive and highly secured as compare to the other CAPTCHA. In this kind of CAPTCHA user has to solve an AI problem either by drag & drop method or click based, depending on the game. The paper is intended to review various implemented CAPTCHA and compare their weakness and security parameters. Many of the CAPTCHAs are based on click based methods where user has to identify the pictures as per its appearance and click accordingly. But this kind of CAPTCHA can be intervened by image processing techniques such as object classifier. Dragging an object to the target area is an effective way but it has to be performed or solved by an intellectual problem. If dragging an object to the target area by object recognition then system may get cracked by relay attacks.
