Abstract:Satellites and space debris clutter low Earth orbital paths. This causes concerns for future launches as the clutter increases the probability of in-orbit collisions. Therefore, it is important to track and characterise these objects. However, the Earth's atmosphere distorts images collected from ground-based telescopes. The blurring effects of the atmosphere can be reduced through post-processing deconvolution to improve the images of satellites and space debris. Yet, a metric is needed to quantify the qualit… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
