Imaging spectrum of periosteal lesions – Pictorial essay

Abstract: Periosteum is a multipotential membrane giving rise to variety of reactions when mineralized. Any stimulus mechanical, physiological, biological and pathological stimulus can produce periosteal reaction and is best seen on conventional films.
