Abstract:The old-growth endemic Imeretian oak [Quercus robur subsp. imeretina (Steven ex Woronow) Menitsky, 1968] is a protected relict Tertiary period tree still preserved in Ajameti Managed Reserve (Republic of Georgia). For a long time, these forests were experienced to the strong anthropogenic influence.
