Imine Metathesis by Silica-Supported Catalysts Using the Methodology of Surface Organometallic Chemistry

Abstract: With this protocol, a well-defined singlesite silica-supported heterogeneous catalyst [(≡Si-O-)Hf(=NMe)(η 1-NMe 2)] is designed and prepared according to the methodology developed by surface organometallic chemistry (SOMC). In this framework, catalytic cycles can be determined by isolating crucial intermediates.
