Immediate implant placement in fresh extraction sockets using the open healing technique and tissue level implants

Abstract: Introduction: Correctly managed, immediate implant placement into fresh extraction socket is a favorable treatment option in order to reduce the overall treatment time and to increase the patient's comfort and satisfaction. Methodology: Atraumatic extractions (N = 42) with socket preservation were performed in n = 40 patients (0.74 sex ratio) followed by immediate placement of tissue level implants.
