Immunization Information Systems to Increase Vaccination Rates

Abstract: Findings from 240 articles and abstracts demonstrate IIS capabilities and actions in increasing vaccination rates with the goal of reducing vaccine-preventable disease.

“…Additionally, in order for the CDS systems to be most effective, they have to rely on accurate evidence-based clinical algorithms that need to be regularly updated and aligned among multiple systems, settings, and patient populations.
