Immunoelectron Microscopic Localization of Mammary Tumor Virus (MTV) Antigens in Normal and Cancerous Mammary Glands of Mice

Abstract: Peroxidase-labeled Fab' fragments of rabbit antisera against gp52 (major envelope protein) and A-particles of mammary tumor virus (MTV) were prepared and used for investigation by immunoelectron microscopy of the replication cycle of MTV-specific envelope and core antigens in normal and malignant mammary gland cells of female mice.
