Immunoglobulin isotype influences traffic of B lymphocytes through popliteal lymph nodes in sheep

Abstract: Summary The antigen specificity of blast B lymphocytes was used to trace their passage from blood through antigenically naive popliteal lymph nodes in sheep. Ovine popliteal nodes selectively recruited lymphocytes containing IgG1, in preference to those containing IgG2. This selection appeared to operate at the level of the vascular endothelium.
