Abstract:We have previously reported on thymomas in Wistar Hannover rats with medullary
differentiation and revealed that two different cytokeratin (CK) immunohistochemical types
of thymic epithelia (TE), CK18 and CK14, lead to the formation of cortical-medullary
structures. In aged F344 rats, epithelial-type thymoma rarely occurs, and thymic
