Follicle‐stimulating hormone receptor (FSHR) is also expressed in osteoclasts where FSH signalling mediates bone resorption (Zhu et al, ), and in neuroendocrine tumours (NETs) where its role has not yet been elucidated (Pawlikowski, Winczyk, & Stępień, ).
