Immunological function of thymoma and pathogenesis of paraneoplastic myasthenia gravis

Abstract: Thymoma and thymic carcinoma are the representative tumors arising from the thymic epithelium. Thymoma is well known for association with autoimmune diseases including myasthenia gravis, suggesting its biological activity.
