Abstract:Radiotherapy, androgen deprivation therapy, and chemotherapy are the mainstay of treatment for prostate cancer (PC); however, resistance development significantly limits their efficacy. Chronic inflammation has a major role in the process of carcinogenesis, and there is a suppression of immune response in PC.
