LIDAR SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) is widely used in positioning and navigation by illuminating a series of light spots on the surface of an object, to obtain the orientation and pose information. While improving the accuracy of pose optimization algorithm without affecting the position information is a challenging problem. This paper combines the graph optimization algorithm and GNSS(Global Navigation Satellite System) to optimize the target object’s coordinates of the LIDAR SLAM pose. The GNSS pose estimation algorithm is proposed to show the relationship between positioning algorithms with and without GNSS pose optimization by analysis the deviation of distance, level and height laser point cloud coordinates. The research results show that in the same case, with GNSS pose optimization the deviations of distance, level and height are 99% smaller than those ones without GNSS pose optimization. We demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed Graph Optimization Algorithm and GNSS optimization of LIDAR SLAM. Finally, this paper points out the direction for the application of wireless communication technology in the field of LIDAR SLAM.

Transportation Demand Management (TDM) has been introduced in Vietnam to keep the balance between the limited supply of road network, and the increase of private vehicles and Park & Ride (P&R) is one of TDM’s measures focused on the transition from private to public transport at stations. This research investigated the current situation of parking areas and bus users’ behavior in 4 main stations in Hanoi, Vietnam. Furthermore, bus users were asked in the assumption case that if they cannot use the bus, how much they will pay for the travel cost and time in that case compared to the actual case when they use the bus. The results have found that many people have accepted to travel in a longer time to save travel costs. This research also identified the factors which influence on using P&R services in station of bus users. Based on the Binary logistic regression model, the “Income” factor is one of the significant characteristics of bus users on selection use or not use of P&R services at the bus station. Finally, bus users’ expectations on the current situation of the parking services at stations gave some suggestions to improve the P&R services in bus stations in Hanoi.

This article synthesized and characterized a novel antibacterial hydrogel, which is formed using maleimide–thiol conjugation. Two precursors chitosan functionalized thiol groups and dextran functionalized maleimide groups prepared and characterized by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). Key features of the hydrogel, such as gelation time, swelling behavior, viscoelastic properties, and degradation rate, were thoroughly examined. From gelation time result, we found that formed hydrogel gelation time could be changed with diffident weight percentage of precursors. Based on references, we found the best formular for the gelation and it was also determined for other studies. The swelling study indicated hydrogel has good flexibility and the degradation test indicated hydrogel is biodegradable. The viscoelastic test indicated hydrogel is an elastic solid. Given these attributes, this novel hydrogel has significant potential for use in various biomedical applications. Finally, colony-counting tests revealed that the hydrogel has an excellent antibacterial ability. Given these attributes, this novel hydrogel has significant potential for use in various biomedical applications.
