“…Considering that a positive opinion of one's oral health allows people to perform their social functions and their daily activities without physical psychological or social disorders, we present the hypothesis that the presence of dental caries as well as dissatisfaction with one's oral health can limit a person's social interaction. A previous study conducted among Jordanian students (11‐ to 12‐year‐olds) identified an association between bullying suffered by students due to their dental‐facial features with negative impacts on oral health‐related quality of life in both boys and girls, establishing a relationship between the magnitude of these impacts and social interaction among children.…”
