Abstract:Objective: Medicinal herbs have been used to treat hemorrhoidal diseases since old times. Given its anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory mechanisms, Capsella bursa-pastoris (Shepherd’s purse) may potentially lead to regression of the hemorrhoidal plexuses.
