Abstract:In this study, the effects of chlorine substitution on the valence orbitals and electronic states of 3-chloropyridine (3-CP) were investigated utilizing high-resolution vacuum ultraviolet mass-analyzed threshold ionization (VUV-MATI) spectroscopy and computational methods.
