Impact of COVID-19 on the national development of countries: Implications for the public health

Abstract: The article focuses on measuring the fluctuations in countries’ development as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The obtained measures make it possible to predict the extent of the impact of risks to public health on the economy, financial-budgetary, political-institutional development of states in the future, as well as the social determinants of public health.
