Impact of dietary supplementation with chokeberry (Aronia melanocarpa, Michx.) on tetrachloride‐induced liver injury in Wistar rats: Hematological and biochemical implication

Abstract: In the current study, we assessed the hematological/biochemical alterations, histopathological changes in the liver, and blood cell disorders in Wistar rats exposed to a toxic concentration of carbon tetrachloride (CCl4) and the potential protective effect of a 30‐day oral extract of chokeberry (Aronia melanocarpa, AM).
