Abstract:The effect of trace elements on intestinal microflora of the intestinum cecum of broiler chickens was studied. One of the causes of reduced intestinal digestive function in birds is the overgrowth of microbial flora in the intestinal lumen, resulting in decreased chyme advancement and premature deconjugation of primary bile acids.
