Although polymer electrolytes have shown great potential in solid‐state lithium metal batteries (LMBs), the polymer chain segments anchor the movement of lithium ions (Li+), which induces the low ionic conductivity of the electrolytes and limits their application. Herein, a strategy of harnessing ion‐dipole interactions is proposed to liberate lithium ions from polymer chains. The adiponitrile (ADN) molecular dipole with strong bond dipole moment (C≡N, 11.8 × 10−30 C m) is introduced into the polyvinylidene fluoride‐co‐hexafluoropropylene (PVDF‐HFP) polymer matrix, achieving an electrolyte with high ionic conductivity of 5.1 × 10−4 S cm−1 at 30 °C. It is demonstrated that the strong ion‐dipole interaction between C≡N and Li+ weakens the ion‐dipole interaction of F···…Li+, facilitating Li+ dissociation and liberating Li+ from polymer chains. Moreover, a hybrid and unsaturated solvation structure is formed with the ADN molecular dipole, PVDF‐HFP polymer chain, and TFSI− anion, corresponding to the solvent‐separated ion pair (SSIP) solvation structure. Thus, the obtained electrolyte realizes high ionic conductivity and lithium‐ion transference number (0.74). Consequently, the assembled lithium symmetric cell delivers stable Li stripping/plating reversibility over 900 h. Additionally, the Li|LiFePO4 full cells exhibit long‐term cycling stability at 0.5 C over 300 cycles with a capacity retention of 96.4% and ultralong cycling of 1000 cycles at a high rate (5 C).

Currently, all‐perovskite tandem solar cells have achieved power conversion efficiencies exceeding 29%. The further improvement is limited by mixed Sn–Pb narrow‐bandgap perovskite subcells. The facile oxidation of Sn2+ to Sn4+ poses an inherent challenge that limits the efficiency and stability of Sn–Pb perovskite solar cells. In this study, a multi‐dentate chelating additive, 3‐amino‐2‐chloroisonicotinamide (ACPC), is developed. Its amino group could anchor I− of the perovskite lattice by hydrogen bonds, thereby preventing I− migration and oxidation. On the other hand, the carbonyl group of ACPC as a Lewis base group could coordinate with Sn2+, effectively protecting Sn2+ from oxidation. Ultimately, the multi‐dentate chelating effect of ACPC helps to suppress the oxidation of Sn–Pb perovskite and its related nonradiative recombination. The resulting Sn–Pb perovskite solar cells obtain a top power‐conversion efficiency (PCE) of 23.09% and a high open‐circuit voltage (VOC) of 0.902 V while the control values only reach 19.11% and 0.825 V. As a result of the improved performance of the Sn–Pb perovskite solar cells, the corresponding all‐perovskite tandem solar cells achieve a PCE of 27.60%, retaining 85.7% of initial PCE after 500 h continuous 1 sun illumination.

Tailored Supramolecular Interactions in Host–Guest Complexation for Efficient and Stable Perovskite Solar Cells and Modules

Host‐guest complexation offers a promising approach for mitigating surface defects in perovskite solar cells (PSCs). Crown ethers are the most widely used macrocyclic hosts for complexing perovskite surfaces, yet their supramolecular interactions and functional implications require further understanding. Here we show that the dipole moment of crown ethers serves as an indicator of supramolecular interactions with both perovskites and precursor salts. A larger dipole moment, achieved through the substitution of heteroatoms, correlates with enhanced coordination with lead cations. Perovskite films incorporating aza‐crown ethers as additives exhibited improved morphology, reduced defect densities, and better energy‐level alignment compared to those using native crown ethers. We report power‐conversion efficiencies (PCEs) exceeding 25% for PSCs, which show enhanced long‐term stability, and a record PCE of 21.5% for host‐guest complexation‐based perovskite solar modules with an active area of 14.0 cm2.
