Impact of High BMI on Wound Complications in Open Paraumbilical Hernia Repair

Abstract: Background/Objective: Few studies have clearly shown a correlation between obesity and wound complications. We analyzed the correlation between body mass index and the complication rate of mesh-based open paraumbilical hernia repair.
