Abstract: In this study, a comparative analysis of virtual reality (VR) and desktop conditions was used to investigate how levels of immersion influence spatial ability. The study revealed significant differences in participants’ spatial environmental ability, with VR users displaying enhanced spatial ability as compared to desktop users.
