Abstract:Prupose:
This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of different initial interventions, including thoracostomy drain tubes, open thoracotomy with decortication, and VATS (Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery) thoracoscopy, in the management of empyema.
