Abstract: Objective Discontinuation of growth hormone therapy (rhGH) upon completion of linear growth may adversely affect bone mineral density (BMD) and bone mineral content (BMC) in adolescents with childhood-onset GH deficiency (CO-GHD) and predispose them to osteoporosis.
