“…Diversas variáveis angiográficas foram identificadas em estudos prévios como preditoras independentes de insucesso em ICP para OCC, como lesões longas ou ostiais; presença de calcificação, tortuosidade ou ramo lateral calibroso adjacente à oclusão; diâmetro do vaso de referência pequeno, anatomia da oclusão (tipo ponta romba) ou doença multiarterial. 2,11 No presente estudo, alguns destes preditores de falha do procedimento, acrescidos de lesões trombóticas, foram observados em porcentual discretamente menor no grupo radial, sugerindo ainda alguma limitação -apesar de pouco representativa -para a escolha da via radial em ICP para OCC.
