Abstract:Serine 129 can be phosphorylated in pathological inclusions formed by the intrinsically disordered protein human αsynuclein (AS), a key player in Parkinson's disease and other synucleinopathies. Here, molecular simulations provide insight into the structural ensemble of phosphorylated AS.
