Impact of platelet transfusion on toxicity and mortality after hematopoietic progenitor cell transplantation

Abstract: HPCT-related toxicity and mortality are associated with increased PLT transfusion events. Alternative strategies to reduce PLT transfusions after HPCT may warrant future study.
