“…A meta-analysis that included data from 13 articles based on 1067 newborns provided evidence that combined routine therapy with supplemental probiotic therapy, consisting of Bifidobacterium, S. boulardii, C. butyricum, probiotic oligosaccharides, and B. subtilis, was clearly effective in treating neonatal jaundice.
