Abstract:Mineral nutrient malnutrition, especially deficiency of selenium (Se) affects the health of approximately one billion people worldwide. Wild emmer wheat (Triticum turgidum ssp. dicoccoides), the progenitor of common wheat, harbors a rich genetic diversity for mineral nutrients.
