Impact of Self-Care Guidelines on Women's Awareness and Identification of Early Signs and Symptoms of Preeclampsia

Abstract: Background: Preeclampsia (PE) is a leading cause of maternal morbidity and mortality worldwide. Early identification of PE in the first trimester helps the introduction of early preventative measures initiated before 16 weeks of gestation in patients at high risk of PE.
