Students’ engagement has been a hot topic since the origin of teaching and learning; and is developing rapidly with time and technology. With the recent advances in Information and Communication Technology (e.g, Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence and 5G), it is a need of the hour to revive its smart use in academia. In underdeveloped countries, parents are offended by financial burdens and educating children is not a priority, resulting students are not effectively engaged in learning. Smartphones are mostly used for fun and entertainment, why not for teaching, learning and monitoring to reshape pedagogy. This study investigated the role of social media in learners’ engagement (l = 734) by making a productive relationship among the parents (p = 400), teachers (t = 21) and Principal in underdeveloped countries’ schools. The results of the study are promising. The statistics for 2018-2019 (i.e, without social media), shows only 3% to 4 % parental participation in meetings and scarce teachers interest in schooling, resulting in the learner disengagement. However, the statistics from 2019-2020 (i.e, use of social media), shows improvements in the parental engagement up to 20% and teachers engagement up to 70%, resulting in a productive learners engagement. It is worth mentioning here that the school (located in the village), learner average attendance increased to 95% (dropped the truancy to almost zero), which got higher authorities admiration.

Social media has transformed the mode of communication globally by providing an extensive system for exchanging ideas, initiating business contracts, and proposing new professional ideas. However, there are many limitations to the use of social media, such as misinformation, lack of effective content moderation, digital piracy, data breaches, identity fraud, and fake news. In order to address these limitations, several studies have introduced the application of Blockchain technology in social media. Blockchains can provides transparency, traceability, tamper-proofing, confidentiality, security, information control, and supervision. This paper is a systematic literature review of papers covering the application of Blockchain technology in social media. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first systematic literature review that elucidates the combination of Blockchain and social media. Using several electronic databases, 42 related papers were reviewed. Our findings show that previous studies on the applications of Blockchain in social media are focused mainly on blocking fake news and enhancing data privacy. Research in this domain began in 2017. This review additionally discusses several challenges in applying Blockchain technologies in social media contexts, and proposes alternative ideas for future implementation and research.

In this paper we find out in which ways social sites affects student’s academic performance and recognize the impact of social sites on our educational system. The reason at the back huge use of social networking sites. Social sites networking (SNS) have grow from being merely libertine stages for personl use to awesome progressive structure that utilized both blend and inside and remotely for relationship and joined exertion with shafts separated stakeholders. Generally among youthful understudies, Social sites networks is an unmistakable example today In this paper by using student-por.csv and student-mat.csv dataset, we work on the classifier on the social media impact on students academic performances. For this purposes we choose K nearest-neighbor (KNN), support vector machine (SVM) and Linear regression algorithm using python that predict slightly better and give right prediction about the student’s academic performance. In social networking model our work has enhanced our imminent. The results reveal that there is strong relationship between social media and student’s academic performance. This paper shows that mostly students have cell phones and also have internet availability so they use 40 mints form 4 hours daily and not give attentions to their studies, all these activities on internet effect the student’s academic performance. This study will commence with introduction and background of existing studies. After that on the basis of background there will be a research question.
