Impact of Soil Pollution on Increasing Temperature in Indonesia

Abstract: The current increase in pollution is of great concern because it will have an impact on various aspects of life. The increase in pollution results in global warming in the form of earth's temperature. This study aims to examine the effect of soil pollution on increasing temperatures in Indonesia. The design of this study is descriptive quantitative. This study uses 2018 Village Potential (Podes) data sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). This study uses multiple linear regression by looking at soil … Show more

“…Pollution due to this waste turns out to have an impact on rising temperatures. Soil contamination is said to raise the temperature by 0,055 0 C in the region of Indonesia (Azzahra & Faradiba, 2021). Climate change is communicated to cause the course of soil contaminations achieved by changes in precipitation which changes in precipitation which incorporate surface runoff, rainfall, evaporation, and degradation (Biswas et al, 2018).…”

“…Disposal of garbage that is not handled properly will cause big problems. The accumulation of garbage or throwing it carelessly into open areas will result in soil pollution which will also have an impact on groundwater channels [8,9,10]. Likewise, burning garbage will cause air pollution, dumping garbage into rivers will result in water pollution, clogged drains and flooding [11,12].…”
