“…Items ask respondents to rate their QoL during the last two weeks and each of them are rated on a 5-point Likert scale. Similarly to the Italian validation study and to the original version of the questionnaire [ 29 , 30 ], internal consistencies for the WHOQOL-BREF were satisfactory, with Cronbach’s alpha values ranging from 0.57 for social relationships and 0.79 for physical health. Reliability for the global score of the WHOQOL-BREF was good (Cronbach’s alpha = 0.88).…”

Van Ballegooijen and colleagues [ 27 ] described considerable levels of stress, a lower QoL, and concerns about access to healthcare during the first eight weeks of the COVID-19 lockdown in the Netherlands and Belgium.…”

The final part of the questionnaire consisted of four self-reported standardised and validated outcome instruments, which were used to assess capability well-being (OxCAP-MH), depression and anxiety levels (HADS), social support (MSPSS) and mental well-being (WHO-5) similar to a parallel linked survey in the UK [ 36 ]. The outcome instruments were adapted to the online survey including the adaptation of their introductory text reflecting the period of interest, i.e.…”

“…The desire to understand the impact of the Covid-19 on people's social relationships and mental health as well as its influence on life satisfaction has led to the conduct of many studies among different categories of people in several countries of the world (Wang, et al, 2019;Fardin, 2020;Otu et al, 2020;Zhang & Ma, 2020;Blake, et al, 2020;Bukuluki, et al, 2020;Dai, et al, 2020;UCL, 2020;White & Boor, 2020;Briggs & Numbere, 2020;Olaseni, et al, 2020). For instance, examined the unprecedented disruption of lives and work: health, distress, and life satisfaction of working adults in China one month into the Covid-19 outbreak.…”
