Abstract:Background: Chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) commonly known as gram or Bengal gram, is an important pulse crop in India. Its productivity is low due to some biotic and abiotic stress, where diseases constitute major biotic constraints. For eco-friendly and sustainable management, T. viride was found effective as biocontrol and in enhancing yield.
