Abstract: Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB) causes infectious bacterial disease. Most cases of musculoskeletal tuberculosis affect vertebrae which cause spinal tuberculosis (spondylitis), extrapulmonary tuberculosis. Vitamin D deficiency have higher risk in tuberculosis infection. Vitamin D had role in the activation processes on immune cell which eliminate tuberculosis infection.
