Abstract:The effect of water saturation of the medium on the ability of earthquakes to initiate repeated shocks (productivity) is considered based on the long-term seismological observations and water inflow monitoring data from the Khibiny massif ore deposits. The study indicates that the water saturation of the medium is a factor that has a significant impact on the productivity of earthquakes.
