Abstract:Adding steel fibres can transform the brittle characteristic of concrete into a ductile state. The objective of the current study is to test the impact resistance of macro and micro steel fibre-reinforced self-compacting concrete (SFRSCC) experimentally by applying a simulated drop-weight impact, as well as statistically and through reliability studies.
