Abstract: ResumoO envelhecimento pode provocar modificações morfofisiológicas causadas pelo acúmulo de danos ao longo da vida. Em relação aos aspectos do sistema estomatogná-tico, observam-se alterações tanto nas estruturas como nas suas funções.
