Abstract:Hydraulic fracturing (HF) events consume high volumes of water over a short time. When groundwater is the source, the additional pumping by Rig/Frack Supply Wells (RFSW) may impose costs on owners of other sector wells (OSWs) by lowering the hydraulic head.
