“…The result of the current study were quite concurrent with a few earlier studies (Berger et al, 2018;Arimoro & Muller, 2010), which reported that diversity or richness of tolerant species increased and sensitive species dominance decreased considerably a result of anthropogenic threats such as waste discharge ,unplanned urbanization, sand and stone derange and other interrelated activity. Land-use patterns and degree of urbanizations influence species composition of river (Luo et al, 2017). Many taxa including Gompidae,Aeshnidae ,Coenagrionidae, perlidae, Gyrinidae, Caenidae,Notoectidae, Heptagenidae, Hydrophilidae, Hydropsychidae, Libellulidae, Naucoridae,Elmidae, Athericidae, Chloroperlidae, Calopterygidae, Ceratopogonidae, Corixidae and Psychomyiidae were collected exclusively at midstream sites where as low in numbers at downstream sites.…”
