Implementation and evaluation of a midwifery development unit

Abstract: This article describes the implementation and evaluation of a programme of care at the Midwifery Development Unit, Glasgow Royal Maternity Hospital. This care programme is being provided as part of a ‘Choices for Care’ initiative.
